Highly versatile, yet very distinctive in flavour.
Produced with the milk of Friuli cows, Tosto Friulano has a wide range of uses in the kitchen: it can in fact be cooked on the griddle, or used as a filling for sandwiches or toasties; it can also be cut into cubes to make the most delicious frico. It presents a smooth rind, which is pale hay in colour like the paste, and a uniform, slightly open structure.
